Excellent time keeping today. I was in the consulting room at 16:02 for my 16:00 appointment. Well done Dr Ghazi.
there telephone system is awful wait for so long before they deal with you
Good luck getting through on the phone to make an appointment, have tried daily for over a week now at different times and unless you select that it is a medical emergency the phone will just ring and ring.
This afternoon it became necessary for my wife to attend the surgery as she required antibiotics urgently. At about 3.30pm she phoned the surgery and explained the situation to a very helpful receptionist who advised her to come down to the surgery about 4.15pm for a consultation. At 4.30pm she saw Barbara, prescription was issued. My thanks to everyone for first class service.
My daughter was given "a sit and wait " appointment for her 4 year old. It was necessary for her to bring her 19 month old twins with her too. After 30 minutes the children were very restless and there was no alternative but to take the twins out of their buggy. They were not naughty but just curious and wanted to explore. My daughter went to Reception to find out how long the wait would be, was greeted with a shrug of shoulders. My daughter said it was proving difficult for the little ones and again the receptionist was unhelpful. One elderly patient witnessed this exchange and remarked that it was unsatisfactory and my daughter was doing a grand job with her children. In the end my daughter saw a doctor after a 75 minute wait.
The "sit and wait" does not work with young families and puts so much stress on mothers as they are constantly having to tell their children to be quiet and to sit still. There is no provision for little ones except some rather shabby bead frames. How about a children's waiting room?
